County, North Carolina. Milliner Burk(e) was in Chatham County
before it existed--Orange County until Chatham was formed in 1771. Milliner's father was Record
Burk(s).
It has been fun meeting interesting cousins
through family research. One of these cousins is J. C.
"Jerry" Burke, Jr. who is known as the Tarheel Fiddler and
formed Hickory Wind with his wife Helen to entertain people who love bluegrass
and gospel music.
